Success doesn’t eliminate pressure.
It multiplies it.
EXECUTIVE PSYCHOLOGICAL ADVISORY
Private psychological advisory for executives, business owners and professionals navigating leadership, pressure, relationships, identity and high-stakes decisions.
Available virtually throughout the U.S. and internationally.
The higher the level of responsibility, the fewer places there are to think out loud honestly.
You may be leading a company or team, making decisions that affect other people, managing competing demands, navigating difficult relationships—or realizing that professional success hasn't automatically translated into the life you expected it to.
Executive Psychological Advisory provides a confidential space to slow down, think clearly, understand the patterns influencing you and make more intentional decisions about your work, relationships and life.
This is not psychotherapy. It is a psychologically informed advisory relationship for high-functioning professionals seeking greater insight, clarity, effectiveness and fulfillment.
Success can create its own set of challenges.
What We Might Work On
Leadership & Communication
Delegation, conflict, developing others, communication and understanding your impact as a leader.
Decision-Making
Separating urgency from importance, understanding the emotional influences behind decisions and becoming more comfortable with uncertainty.
Pressure & Performance
Managing intensity and ambition, preventing burnout and performing at a high level without allowing work to consume everything else.
What Comes Next
Making sense of growth, transitions, dissatisfaction or the persistent sense that something needs to change—even when life looks successful from the outside.
Happiness & Quality of Life
Understanding what genuinely energizes and fulfills you when achievement alone isn't delivering the satisfaction you expected.
Identity, Success, and Fulfillment
Understanding the relationship between achievement, self-worth and identity—and discovering who you are outside of your professional role.
Relationships
Recognizing interpersonal patterns, improving communication and understanding how professional pressure affects relationships at work and at home.
Understand Your Operating System.
You wouldn't expect to effectively run a complex organization on an operating system you didn't understand—without knowing how it's configured, what it's capable of, where its vulnerabilities are or how it responds under pressure.
People aren't all that different.
How you lead, make decisions, communicate, pursue achievement and respond to stress is influenced by an internal operating system developed over a lifetime: your personality, experiences, beliefs, motivations, relationships, strengths and learned patterns.
Most of us operate from that system every day without fully understanding it.
My work helps you understand yours.
My background in psychology and executive leadership allows us to go beyond what you're doing to understand why certain patterns keep appearing. Once those patterns become visible, you have more choice about which ones continue to serve you—and which ones need to change.
The goal isn't insight for insight's sake. It's using a deeper understanding of yourself to make better decisions, lead more intentionally, build stronger relationships and create a life that feels as successful from the inside as it may already look from the outside.
Your Executive Operating Profile™
Every ongoing advisory relationship begins with developing your Executive Operating Profile™ (EOP)—a personalized framework for understanding how you operate.
The EOP integrates psychological and leadership assessments, our conversations and my professional synthesis to identify patterns involving:
Leadership • Decision-Making • Communication • Motivation • Achievement • Stress Response • Emotional Regulation • Relationships • Identity • Strengths • Blind Spots • Fulfillment
Unlike a traditional assessment report, your EOP isn't designed to sit in a folder.
It's a living framework for understanding you.
As our work continues, the EOP evolves with you—giving us a shared understanding of the patterns beneath whatever challenge, decision or opportunity we're addressing.
Not Ready for Ongoing Advisory?
You can begin with the Executive Operating Profile™ as a standalone engagement.

About Robin
Robin Riggs, MA, LCMHC
Executive Psychological Advisor | Psychotherapist | Executive Leadership Coach
I work with executives, business owners and professionals who are successful, capable and accustomed to carrying significant responsibility.
My work sits at the intersection of psychology, leadership and real-world decision-making. My background includes both psychotherapy and business ownership, giving me an understanding not only of human behavior, but also of the realities of building a business, making consequential decisions and carrying the responsibility that comes with leadership.
My approach is direct, curious, collaborative and non-judgmental.
Sometimes our work involves asking questions you haven't stopped long enough to consider. Sometimes it means challenging an assumption or identifying a pattern that's difficult to see from the inside. And sometimes you simply need a confidential thinking partner who understands both human behavior and the realities of leadership.
A Different Kind of Professional Relationship
There isn't a predetermined curriculum.
One conversation may focus on a leadership decision. The next may involve a difficult relationship, an internal pattern you've begun to recognize, or a larger question about identity, ambition, happiness or the direction of your life.
The work follows what matters most.
Your Executive Operating Profile™ gives us the deeper framework for understanding the patterns underneath it.
Ongoing advisory relationships may include regular individual sessions, continued development of your EOP, assessments when useful, accountability and access between sessions when something benefits from real-time thought partnership.
You don't need to know exactly what you need yet.
If something about this work resonates with you, we can start with a conversation.
The complimentary 20-minute consultation gives me an opportunity to understand what you're navigating and gives you an opportunity to experience how I think and work.
We'll determine together whether Executive Psychological Advisory—or beginning with an Executive Operating Profile™—makes sense.
